The Lord in the Heart
Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Formerly, prior to the manifestation of the cosmos, Lord Brahmā, by meditating on the virāṭ-rūpa, regained his lost consciousness by appeasing the Lord. Thus he was able to rebuild the creation as it was before.(1)
The way of presentation of the Vedic sounds is so bewildering that it directs the intelligence of the people to meaningless things like the heavenly kingdoms. The conditioned souls hover in dreams of such heavenly illusory pleasures, but actually they do not relish any tangible happiness in such places.(2)
That Beloved True Guru is always with me; wherever I may be, He will save me.
I am a sacrifice to the Guru, who recites the sermon of the Lord's Teachings.
क्षत्रिय होने के नाते अपने विशिष्ट धर्म का विचार करते हुए तुम्हें जानना चाहिए कि धर्म के लिए युद्ध करने से बढ़ कर तुम्हारे लिए अन्य कोई कार्य नहीं है | अतः तुम्हें संकोच करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है |
Considering your specific duty as a ksatriya, you should know that there is no better engagement for you than fighting on religious principles; and so there is no need for hesitation.
हे अर्जुन !, मैं भूत , वर्तमान और भविष्य के सभी प्राणियों को जानता हूँ , किन्तु वास्तविकता में कोई मुझे नहीं जानता .
I know, O Arjuna, the beings of the past, of the present, and those of the future, but no one really knows Me.
Once Krishna's mother Devaki and his wife Rukmini wished to enjoy his childhood pranks, at the end of the Dwapara yuga. The divine architect Viswakarma then created this image of Krishna bearing a churn in his right hand and a string in his left. Rukmini worshiped this image every day.
